Custom Design

In custom design projects a new catalyst needs to be developed for an existing commercial application. We develop this catalyst for you using our proprietary know-how and catalyst expertise. Typically, we start from an existing Evonik proprietary catalyst technology which we systematically modify to produce an optimised catalyst. We leverage our large catalyst libraries and, if applicable, our high throughput preparation and screening equipment. Testing and qualification of the catalysts is performed both at your site and ours. The result of the project is a catalyst tailored to your application. Once the lab recipe has been elaborated, catalyst production is scaled up to commercial levels.
