Bolaji
Bolaji is a Business Manager, managing relationships with customers within the Petrochemical Industry for the Catalysts business line. Working at Evonik for the past two years, he was previously part of IPREP, Evonik’s rotational program. When it comes to be #PartofSomethingSpecial, he aligns most with ‘Potential Without Limits’ – and dives into his optimistic viewpoint for the future.

Could you tell us about your current role at Evonik and what brought you to this position?
As a Business Manager at Evonik, I’m responsible for managing our existing business opportunities with our customers and identifying new opportunities to support our industry partners. I act as a liaison between our customers and our R&D team, ensuring that our customers’ needs are met, and their expectations are exceeded.
My previous experience in the Evonik rotational program, IPREP [International Professional Rotational Enrichment Program], prepared me for this role. I’m proud to work for an organization that consistently delivers innovative solutions to complex challenges. I believe that my work at Evonik provides me with a unique opportunity to learn and grow while contributing to the development of sustainable solutions.
How do you feel you’re contributing to something special?
I serve as the voice of our customers within our organization. My focus is on identifying the needs of the industry and introducing our catalysts to support the development of sustainable solutions. By doing so, we increase the chances of these ideas reaching a commercial scale and achieving widespread global adoption. I believe that the work we do today will have a significant impact on the quality of life in the future, and I am proud to be a part of that effort.
Which of the three themes do you feel you align with most, and why?
I resonate most with "Potential Without Limits". Our efforts to support sustainable developments have a significant impact on the downstream applications we use in our daily lives. The ever-changing nature of the industry keeps my curiosity and optimism alive, and our product portfolio and R&D capabilities enable us to help our customers improve efficiency, lower costs, and reduce their carbon footprint. This allows us to provide greener products for downstream applications.
